CREATIVE ACCESS RESOURCE
Audio artwork for Baling Hay by Evelyn Dunbar, a piece at the National Museum of Wales
Drawn to this piece of work for its depiction of members of the Land Army baling hay in a field in Wales, I created a four-minute piece of audio that describes the painting and then tells the story of one of the women featured in the artwork.

This access resource was created for visually impaired museum users, but can be enjoyed by all upon request. The audio player is housed in a tiny hay bale made from cardboard and raffia, wrapped in a silk headscarf.

The resource will be available at the National Museum of Wales once the Covid 19 rules are lifted within Wales. It was due to be available from January 2021.
